April Fools' Joke Jam

Get ready for a little silliness, a lot of laughter, and a fun way for kids to build confidence!

Join us for our Wild at Hart April Fools' Joke Jam — a playful homeschool gathering full of jokes, stories, and just enough chaos to make it memorable. 🤪

🎉 Spirit Day Style!
We’re adding a fun “spirit day” element — kids are invited (but not required!) to dress silly!
Think:

• 🧦 Crazy socks

• 🎀 Crazy hair

•  👕 Mismatched clothes

• 🤡 Funny outfits

• Get creative!

What to Expect:

• 🎤 Open Mic for kids to tell jokes or funny stories

• 📖 A joke jar filled with submissions from our registered kids (submit your joke through the registration form or by email to wildatharthomeschooladventures@gmail.com)

• 📚 Joke books available to browse

• 😂 Funny storytime with mom-approved silly books - Mandy will be reading

• 🎲 Family-friendly improv/charades-style game

• 📝 Joke Exchange Station — “Leave a joke, take a joke!” (each participating child can bring a joke written on an index card. Drop the joke in the box and take a different joke home to share with family and friends!)

• 🛝 Playground time to play and connect

• Craft table with April Fools’-themed crafts and activities

Each registered child can submit a joke ahead of time. I’ll add them to our official Joke Jar and read a few during the event!

This is meant to be a low-pressure, encouraging way for kids to practice public speaking and enjoy community in a relaxed setting.

🧺 What to Bring:

• Picnic blanket or camp chairs

• Your own food & drinks

• An index card with a joke for our joke exchange

• Your best silly outfit 😄
